100 km = 62 mph

Euros use 0-100 instead of 0-60.

137 Ave. at Castle Downs Rd., Edmonton. Looks like a pretty major roadway area.

Acording to Wikipedia 137 Ave. is a

"major arterial road in north Edmonton , Alberta , Canada . This road travels through residential, industrial and commercial areas, including shopping and entertainment centres and districts.

The road starts at Ray Gibbon Drive , in southwest St. Albert , Big Lake being west of there. It links south St. Albert with Ray Gibbon Drive (St. Albert's West Bypass Road), by way of Riel Drive and Sir Winston Churchill Avenue. Within St. Albert the road is named LeClair Way . After entering Edmonton, at Sir Winston Churchill Avenue, it passes under Anthony Henday Drive, and continues through north Edmonton."

99MPH in a 37 MPH zone is egregious. I have a road that is very similar by me that passes through both commercial and residential areas that I'm pretty confident speeds of this magnitude happen on regularly in the wee hours of Friday and Saturday nights. Dragstrip about 22 miles away to boot. If I had a dragstrip that close, I'd be there at least weekly.....

Unfortunately, when you get behind the wheel of a car not only do you have to be mindful of your own actions (which is perfectly acceptable) but those of the people around you. As most of us are well aware children tend to pay less attention than adults (again; I can accept that). My issue is full grown adults who pay ZERO mind to their surroundings when they are perfectly capable of doing so.

Stupid people...

But stupid "how long does it take to brake" also... Doing 100mph, a car does not take 328m to stop... well maybe, if you drive a Lada, but other than that, no...

And stupider... "if you want to drive like an idiot, go to Castrol Raceway"... gosh, because people who go to racetrack go there because they "want to drive like idiots", of course... What a bunch of assssssssses
